Robotics

ROBOTICS
1- Robotics ( Robot Birds (6-8) An early stage into Robotics. Kids will program a robot by visually assembling events and action blocks, then they will have fun with their robots
Objectives
  • Introduction to Robotics and programming
  • Problem solving
  • Teamwork
  • fun
  • Tools: Thymio
2- Wonder tablets Robotics I (From 6) An early stage into Robotics. Kids will program a robot by visually assembling events and action blocks, then they will have fun with their robots
Objectives
  • Robotics and programming
  • Problem solving
  • fun

  • Tools: Dash & Dot, Tablet
3- Wonder tablets Robotics II ( From 8) participant is introduced to advanced concepts of coding through playful projects and puzzles. Exploring variables, events, conditionals and more, his robot becomes a dancer, adventurer, artist and prankster, powered by kid’s code.
Objectives
  • Robotics and programming
  • Problem solving
  • fun

  • Tools: Dash & Dot, Tablet
4- Color Coded Robot (From 8) During this program, students will learn the basics of programming, and apply them to control a robot who shows his emotion with colors.
Objectives
  • Discover the universe of robotics
  • Learn a robot’s language
  • Programming
  • Teamwork

  • Tools: Thymio
5- Racing Design( From 10) Built your own robot, and program it for fun. Each kid will buit his own robot. There will be racing.
  • Tools: Thymio
6 - Battle Racing( From 10) Built your own robot, add accessories and program it for fun. Each kid will buit his own robot. There will be racing, dancing and battles.
  • Tools: mbots
7- Robotics 1012 Students will learn the basics of designing, programming, and controlling a fully functional robot. Using LEGO® MINDSTORMS®, mathematical concepts, and engineering principles students will brainstorm, plan, test, and modify sequences of instructions to accomplish a given task. Students will also learn the sequence of communication between the robot, and the programmer by collecting and analyzing data using the robot's sensors
Objectives
  • Tools: lego mindstorm
8 - Robotics Programming 10+ With a general purpose already built test robot, children will discover how to combine core elements like blocks, data wires, files and variables to create sophisticated programs. They will program their robot to react to different environments and respond to commands using sensors. The robot will follow a line using a PID- type controller like the ones in real industrial systems. There will be some challenges between teams.
Objectives
  • Good programming practices
  • Critical thinking
  • Debugging strategies
  • Data analysis
  • Fun

  • Tools: Lego Mindstorm
9 - Lego Building (From 10) Built lego robots, operate them with preloaded code.
  • Tools: Lego Mindstorm
10 - Mission to space Students design and program robots to explore an unknown planet, find safe shelter, and collect soil samples from the planet. Students use LEGO® Robotics and computers to learn principles of robotics, computer programming, and teamwork
  • Tools: Lego Mindstorm
